Tyson Fury officially receives his license back

The British Boxing Board of Control has officially granted Tyson Fury back his professional license.

The former world heavyweight champion made the announcement on his social media when he posted a picture of his official license for his followers to see.

Fury famously vacated his WBA, WBO, IBF & IBO titles on October 12 after feeling too much pressure from the anti-doping investigation and mental health issues. The BBBoC then suspended Fury’s license the following day on October 13.

‘The Gypsy King’ has not fought after famously dethroning Wladimir Klitschko in November 2015.

In addition to his fighter’s license, Fury apparently also applied and received a manager’s license according to his Instagram account.

Fury will make his official comeback on June 9 in Manchester. His comeback opponent is yet to be announced.
